Using Beam Clamps Safely:

  • Check the clamp before use - do not use a defective clamp
  • ensure the beam is adequate for the load, in good condition and suitable for the application
  • Check the clamp is of the correct profile and size, or correctly adjusted, for the beam width and that it seats correctly on the beam flange.
  • Never use beam clamps which are unidentified or uncertified for lifting applications.
  • Never replace bolts, shackles etc. without consulting the supplier.
  • Never force or wedge hooks of lifting machines into the attachment eye or fitting.
  • Never side load a beam clamp without the authority of the supplier.

In Service Inspection

Regularly inspect the beam clamp. If any of the following defects are found, refer to a Competent Person:

  • Distortion, cracks, corrosion or other damage.
  • Wear of clamping screw threads.
  • Insecure fixings.
  • Illegible markings.

Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

Cut Off Times : All orders placed before 12 noon will be despatched that same day. Orders placed after 2pm will be despatched the following day. We try to despatch orders placed between 12pm and 2pm on the same day, but this is not always possible - please call 01460 220906 if you want to confirm that same day despatch is possible for your particular order.  

Next Day Carriage : Express Delivery is available for deliveries to mainland England, Wales & Scottish Lowlands. Please see cut off times above. For Next Day Delivery, please use the drop down menu under Shipping Options and select Express Delivery.

2-3 Day Mainland Delivery : Orders should arrive within 2-3 working days from the date of despatch (please see cut off times above).  

Non-standard areas : Please allow 5 working days from clearance of payment for delivery. Typically this is much quicker and 98% of orders are delivered within 24 - 48 hours after despatch from our warehouse.
